- 1 1/2 lb Beef stew meat
- 5-6 Carrots, chopped
- 2 Onion, chopped
- 4-6 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 lg Potato or sweet potato, peeled & cube
- 4 stalks Celery, chopped
- 1 cup Beef or chicken broth (see recipe for chicken broth)
- 1 cup Red wine
- 2 tsp Herbamire or preferred seasoning blend
- 1 tsp Sea salt
- 2 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground
- Season beef with salt and pepper.
- Add carrots, onions, garlic, potatoes, celery, and seasoning blend to Crockpot.
- Add beef on top. You can sear the beef in the skillet before adding to the Crockpot, but not totally necessary.
- Add broth and wine. If you’d prefer to not use wine use broth instead.
