
Hamburger Patties
- 1 lb Ground beef, grass-fed preferably
- 4 oz Liver, beef or chicken, ground (optional)
- 2 Tbsp Butter, lard, or tallow or other cooking fat
- 1/2 cup Onion, chopped
- 1 Egg preferably from a pastured chicken
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt or Himalayan salt
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- Melt butter or other cooking fat in large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chopped onion until soft and translucent, and then transfer to a mixing bowl.
- Add the ground beef, ground liver, egg, water, cayenne pepper, salt, and minced garlic in the mixing bowl. Gently mix thoroughly.
- Pat the ground beef mixture into 6 patties.
- Place your skillet back on medium heat. Add the burgers to the pan and cover for about 5 minutes and then flip the patties.
- Once the patties are cooked they are ready to serve.
