- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 tomatoes, cut up
- 1 lb okra, cut into 1/2 inch strips
- Dash of sea salt or Himalayan salt, pepper and cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Melt butter in skillet and saute onions, pepper and garlic.
- Add tomatoes and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
- Place okra in 9 x 13 inch casserole.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, cinnamon and pour sauce over okra.
- Cover and bake for 20 minutes or until okra is tender.
